- Continue cooking with a lid on for 30 mins on a low heat.
- In a separate pan bring potatoes to the boil in salted water and cook until tender.
- Transfer meat mixture to a large pie dish.
- Mash potatoes with plenty of butter and a little milk.
- Spread mash on top of meat evenly and fluff with a fork.
- Place pie under a pre-heated grill until golden brown.
