  18. Take 1 tbsp tamarind chutney
  19. Prepare 1 tbsp green chutney
  20. Take 1 finely chopped onion

Dal Pakwan is an authentic breakfast delicacy in Sindhi homes. Crisp flavored puries known as Pakwan served with spicy dal topped with chutney. Serve Pakwan with hot dal with drizzle of tamarind chutney. Pakwan daal is tasty Sindhi snack and is spicy.

Steps to make Daal pakwan in different styles:
  1. First soak both daals together for half an hour. After that boil then in a pressure cooker with 4-4 glass of water and turmeric powder, green chilli, chopped tomatoes. After one whistle slow down the flame and cook it for 15 minutes
  2. Now sift all the flours in a bowl. Add salt. Carrot seeds and oil. Mix well and knead a semi hard dough with the help of water. Pour little water at a time and knead well. Cover it with a samp muslin cloth and let it rest for 1 hour
  3. After one hour knead the dough well again and make a round tortilla with the help of a rolling pin. Prick it with the fork and deep fry it in hot oi on medium to slow flame.
  4. Take a small portion of the dough and make a small round puri and stick it on a muffin mould from outside and fry it to make a bowl shaped pakwan
  5. Make a round pakwan and cut it into small triangles and fry them in hot oil
  6. Nom for plating take a bowl shaped pakwan. Pour daal. Sprinkle dry masalas and cumin seeds and pour hot oil on it. Garnish it with some fresh coriander leaves and chopped onions
  7. Take short glass and pour daal in it. Sprinkle dry masalas and cumin seeds and pour hot oil on it and serve with fresh coriander leaves and finely chopped onions.
